Registry and derivatives

We currently own and operate a carbon registry (Regi) for tracking ownership and history for carbon credits in this fledgling market. Regi was set up to meet the requirements of the first trade of carbon credits in New Zealand. Iconic New Zealand companies Trade Me and Meridian approached us to build and operate a registry. The development and operation of the new registry system was completed within 10 days.

We also operate the energy derivatives trading platform, EnergyHedge, on behalf of a stakeholder group. The EnergyHedge platform allows its member participants to trade hedge contracts for electricity referenced to the North Island reference point Haywards.  You can view this at www.energyhedge.co.nz.
